1 Registration & Payments

SCHOOLS:

Schools registering multiple students must complete their student registration info before payment.

Please go to your schools tab and fill out:

  • Student names (listed alphabetically by last name)

  • Student email addresses (please ensure these are regularly checked)

Payments can be made online with a credit card by clicking the button below.

STUDENTS:

  • Whether you are currently represented by an agent

This information allows industry professionals to know how to contact you and identify your current representation.

2 Virtual Audition Package

Next Generation Showcase is proud to partner with Casting Workbook.

Each participating student will receive a dedicated Showcase profile that features their audition package, which will be distributed alongside a digital program to industry members.

Student profiles will remain available to industry members for six months following the Showcase.

A Casting Workbook account is not required to participate.

3 Audition Package Requirements

Each student must submit:

  • Headshot

    • JPEG (.jpg) format

  • Resume

    • PDF format

    • Include:

      • Contact information
        (or your agent's contact information)

      • A brief performer bio

      • Relevant experience, training, education and skills

  • Audition Videos

Students may submit up to two audition pieces.

Requirements:

  • Maximum 2 videos

  • Maximum 3 minutes per video

  • Maximum 300 MB per video

  • MP4 format only

  • No 4K video files

  • One continuous take (no edited performances)

  • Good lighting and clear audio, with performer centred in frame

Accepted submissions include:

  • Monologues

  • Songs

  • Scenes with an off-camera reader

  • Dance reels

  • Other performance pieces that best showcase your work

Please note:

  • There is no need to slate your videos.

  • Videos should not be edited together from multiple takes (dance reels are the exception).

4 Submitting Your Package

Upload Instructions

  1. Open your school's Google Drive link.

  2. Create a folder labelled:

    • Last Name, First Name

  3. Upload all required files into your folder:

    • Headshot, Resume, Audition Video 1, Audition Video 2 (if applicable)

  4. Label each file appropriately:

    • eg. Last Name, First Name Headshot | Last Name, First Name Resume

  5. Label your audition videos using the following format:

    Monologue – Lady Macbeth, Macbeth, William Shakespeare

    Naming your audition pieces is important so industry professionals know what performance they are about to watch.

  6. A sample folder has been provided as a reference if you have any questions about file organization or naming.

Audition Package Deadline

Friday, January 8, 2027 | 5:00 PM EST

Once your package has been uploaded, there is no need to contact Next Generation Showcase. Every submission will be reviewed, and you will only be contacted if any required materials are missing.

Before submitting, please double-check that:

  • All required materials have been included.

  • Files are in the correct formats.

  • All files are properly labeled.

  • Your videos play correctly.

  • Your resume contains accurate and up-to-date contact information.

Once submissions have been uploaded to Casting Workbook, no changes or revisions can be made. Please review your package carefully before uploading.

5 In-Person Showcase Events

All in-person Showcase events, including industry panels, workshops, networking sessions, and live performance opportunities, will take place at:
